Curse Breaking Prayer

Confession of Faith

Heavenly Father, I come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. I thank you for your love, grace, and the victory of the cross. By His blood, I am redeemed from every curse, sin, and bondage. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I belong to Him alone.

Breaking Curses and Strongholds

In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask forgiveness for all my sins and the sins of my ancestors on both my father’s and mother’s sides, back to Adam and Eve, and on behalf of my family and all future generations.

I place every sin under the precious blood of Jesus. I ask You to break every curse, demonic stronghold, soul tie, and legal right operating in my life, my family, and all future generations. Sever every ungodly soul tie and close every door that I or my ancestors have opened to the enemy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Forgiveness and Releasing Bitterness

Lord Jesus, I choose to forgive everyone who has hurt, abused, or wronged me—physically, emotionally, verbally, or sexually—including [name specific people if known, e.g., family members, ex-partners, abusers]. I release all resentment, bitterness, anger, hatred, rage, revenge, and unforgiveness toward them, myself, God, or any others. I bless those who have cursed me and pray for their salvation. Forgive me for holding onto these emotions, and cleanse my heart.

Renouncing Non-Christian Practices

Father, I repent of and renounce any involvement (past or present, mine or through family) in non-Christian religions or practices, including Atheism or Agnosticism, Buddhism or Zen, Scientology or Dianetics, Freemasonry (and family members), Hinduism, Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses, Kabbalah, Mormonism, Santeria, Satanism, Voodoo, Witchcraft, or any other false belief systems [name specifics if applicable]. I declare Jesus Christ as the only Way, Truth, and Life, and I close every door opened through these.

Emotional, Mental Health, and Related Issues

Lord, I repent for any roots of anger, bitterness, emotional/physical abuse (as victim or perpetrator), rage, revenge, fear, anxiety, depression, insecurity, low self-esteem, self-condemnation, worthlessness, ADD/ADHD, bipolar, OCD, schizophrenia, or any other mental or emotional torment [name specifics]. Forgive me for any suicide attempts or considerations and any involvement in abortion. I renounce any self-inflicted curses or patterns of unforgiveness. Heal my mind and emotions. I understand that by Your stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5).

Addictions and Criminal History

I repent of and renounce all addictions or habits, including alcoholism, drugs (illegal or prescription), food and eating disorders, gambling, gaming, sex, pornography, tobacco, workaholism, sleep aids, or any others [name specifics]. I also repent of any criminal acts, including arrests, violence, rape, selling drugs, vandalism, or other sins [name specifics]. Break every chain of bondage and deliver me from any compulsions and their consequences.

Occult and New Age Practices

In Jesus' name, I renounce and repent of all involvement (mine or ancestral) in Occult and New Age activities, including acupuncture, astral projection, astrology or horoscopes, automatic writing, blood oaths, channeling, covenants, crystals, fire walking, fortune telling, levitation, Ouija boards, past life therapy, psychic consultations, Reiki, seances, spells, spiritual baths, spiritual spouses, tattoos with occult symbols, tarot cards, transcendental meditation, yoga, voodoo, witchcraft, or any others [name specifics]. I command all related spirits to leave me now. If anyone dedicated me or my family to spiritual entities, I renounce it. I have or will destroy any occult objects in my possession [dispose of them physically after prayer].

If family members were involved in witchcraft, I renounce [name relatives and relationship if known] and break all inherited ties.

Sexual Sins and Abuse

Lord Jesus, I repent of and renounce all sexual sins, including adultery, bestiality, cross-dressing, internet and phone sex, lustful thoughts, molestation (as victim or perpetrator), necrophilia, perverted sex, pornography, promiscuity, prostitution, rape (as victim or perpetrator), sadomasochism, strip clubs, or any others [name specifics]. I break all ungodly soul ties with former partners or abusers. Heal me from any sexual abuse [mention incidents/ages if ready] and remove all resentment toward those involved. Sever every demonic attachment from sexual sin, including any incubus or succubus spirits.

Demonic Behaviors and Oppression

I renounce any demonic experiences, including anti-Christ obsessions, curses on me or my family, hearing voices, Satan or demon worship, desire to curse God or Christ, seeing shadows, orbs, or ghosts, smelling strange odors, sex with demons, lost time, sleep paralysis, or any others [name specifics]. In Jesus' name, I bind and command all oppressive spirits to leave me now and go to the foot of the cross.

Generational and Family Issues

Father, I repent on behalf of my ancestors for their sins that opened doors. This includes any psychological issues, addictions, negative beliefs or emotions (e.g., inferiority, shame, anger, violence, fear, hatred), relational brokenness (e.g., abandonment, divorce, abuse), sexual brokenness (e.g., promiscuity, pornography, infidelity), inherited diseases, unnatural deaths (e.g., abortion, suicide, miscarriage), accidents, financial struggles, spiritual patterns (e.g., occult, idolatry, false religions), or any others. By the blood of Jesus, break all generational curses, iniquities, and patterns passed down through my bloodline on both sides, back to Adam and Eve. I claim freedom for myself, my family, and all future generations.

Closing Doors, Breaking Curses, and Filling with the Holy Spirit

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I break, cancel, and nullify every curse—generational, word curses, self-inflicted, occult, sexual, or otherwise—over my life, family, health, mind, relationships, and finances. I close every demonic door and legal ground. I command all evil spirits associated with these areas to leave me immediately, never to return, and go where Jesus sends you.

Holy Spirit, fill every empty place with Your presence, peace, love, joy, and power. Seal me with Your protection. I put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Thank You, Lord, for complete freedom and deliverance. I am a new creation in Christ—the old has gone, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
